Their role is to is to promote monetary and financial stability which is aimed at providing a conducive environment for the sustainable growth of the Malaysian economy. The customer also played a significant developmental role in developing the financial system infrastructure in advancing the financial inclusion agenda. This is to ensure all economic sectors and segments of the society have access to financial services. In addition, the customer also oversees the nation’s payment systems infrastructure which emphasize on the efficiency and security of the financial systems.
The Client has been depending on their Legacy System to operate for years together and the system was heavily dependent on their on-premises server or sometime even to work offline which was very difficult for them to work. The software runs on only antiquated hardware, the cost of maintaining the system may overshadow the cost of replacing both the software and hardware.
With the legacy system, the client also faced performance issues due to the system maintain, upgrade with the limited security patches available. Disaster recovery was also not ready and this will may face a threat to the client. New integration was also hard to implement because of the new technology update.

Through this exercise Softline helped the customer for nationwide deployment of the SQL solution along with hardware supplies as well as Microsoft SQL Premier Services demonstrating our capability of providing an end to end solution for the Financial Service Industry. This helped the customer move their workloads to a much more robust Microsoft SQL platform with premier support which would let them focus more on managing the financial district which is their primary work rather than worry about backend IT infrastructure.
