Expert in Oracle Database, and/or Oracle Hardware and Oracle Public Cloud offerings. A Pre-Sales Consultant in this role will present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to ourcustomers and internally supporting our sales force in region. Expert participates in the design, validation, and presentation of Oracle infrastructure technologies (hardware, software and cloud) based on customer needs. Previous experience as Technical Pre-Sales is preferred, with the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer’s needs.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops actions aimed to create new business opportunities with existing clients who are being part or have been part of a project, to ensure continuity of sales, fidelity and an increase of the purchaser portfolio
Technical negotiations with customers. Choosing the best solution to fit customer’s needs;
Webinars, seminars and any other marketing activities to generate new deals and get new customers.
Support Account Managers with BOM’s and Technical proposals for Cloud Solutions, Software, Hardware
Develops technology demos and presents to clients the different platforms in use to promote sales and increase revenues
Stays updated studying the new technologies and to be certified by vendors and organizations that provide products to ensure the technical skills needed for performing the position in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the company
Assesses the sales plan together with AMs and BDM, defining the scope of the proposal, creating the commercial proposal document for the client, and following up the sale until technical approval is granted and the sale is closed, in accordance with commercial plans.
A minimum of 3 years presales / consultancy experience is preferred
Strong understanding of Oracle or similar offerings
Certification for Associate, Professional and Expert (a plus)
